Mapungubwe National Park & World Heritage Site

A meer half hour drive from us is Mapungubwe National Park and World Heritage Site. If it is wildlife and birdwatching you are after – this is the ideal location for a days’ treat to complete your Big Five experience.  Here you can enjoy a museum tour as well which is famous for the Golden Rhino.  You can feast your eyes on the confluence of the Shashe and Limpopo Rivers where 3 countries meet.  Game Drives through the Park is arranged by us for an enjoyable outing.

Game Drives

• Morning Game Drive: are done in open 4×4 vehicles. Regular sightings of most species of game and birdlife.
• Sunset Game Drive: are also done in open 4×4 vehicles.  If you are lucky you might see the aardvark, then there are the aardwolf, nocturnal animals, and the gracious owls, and the star studded night sky.
